Thank you Graham.
I tell you. Having the cute girl (or cute boy) that you're trying to impress there always works a little for me.
And there was something about the atmosphere at Kincaids that made me feel adventurous.
And the thought of my past adventures made me braver the other night with the tuna.

Go out to some fairly nice place with your someone. Have a tasty appetizer and a little wine to loosen the old "picky-eater" joints (though not enough to loosen the old "projectile vomit" joints). And then order. Though don't go for squid or calamari the first time. Find something that sounds fancy but is pretty tame underneath it all.

"Crab stuffed mahi-mahi encrusted with macadamia nuts" sounds super fancy. But it's really just a little seafood.

Wow - what a brave boy you were, trying out these delicacies! I am the pickiest eater in the world and it kinda sucks that I'm too scared to try new stuff for fear of projectile vomiting over my dinner date. Any advice for the wary eater, Brenden?

:P Yes, you do.
And I know about you and gift cards! $1000 ones.
You don't want them spent on you, but you don't mind spending them, huh?
