Okay, so the game sucked but the trip was fun. Here are a few pictures from the weekend (click on the thumbs to get a closer look).

This is looking from the upper deck on the North end towards the South end of the stadium before game time.

Here is a view of the visitor’s section where most of the Gopher fans were seated. Not too many compared to the announced crowd of 106,000+.

Here’s the West side of the stadium during the game. So full of people.

The game was on ABC, so we had the Good Year Blimp overhead.

Here was something cool that the student section did. The Lions had just punted and pinned the Gophs on the 2 yard line (if you look at the scoreboard, they are now on the 4 after gaining 2 on 1st down) with their backs to the band and the student section. The student section went nuts and every one of them put up the signal for a safety. I thought it was sweet.
