I had some problems with the full size pictures not loading earlier, they should be fine now.

Thanks to Steve and Linzy for taking pictures and graciously sending them to me for me to post.

Saturday night was a little more active than Sunday. I headed to Matt and Jenny’s house and we headed over to Steve and Linzy’s together. Already there was Dan, and of course Steve and Linzy. We chilled out for a while. Just talking and discussing how old I was.

Chillin’ before grillin’. From the left it is Dan, myself, Jenny, and Matt.

An empty glass of Southern and Coke is not a good sign.

After a while Steve threw some burgers on the grill and before to long we were chowing down. (I’m getting hungry thinking about it) After dinner we decided to play a game. Steve brought out a few, including one that was still in the shrink wrap called Apples to Apples. A friend of mine had just played it and told me it was fun, so the choice was easy. It turned out to be quite a fun game, if I do say so myself. Though maybe I enjoyed it so much because of the Southern Comfort and Coke I had been sipping since arriving. Jenny ended up winning and I took second, so that wasn’t too bad. After the game we headed to the bowling alley.

At the alley we met Chey, who had been packing and moving all day long. We paid our $20 and off we went. Three games were played throughout the night with prizes and contests running as well. The contestants were chosen by the MC calling out numbers corresponding to tickets we received when we paid. And there were colored pins mixed in with the regular pins and whenever you had a colored head pin you could win money by getting a strike.

This actually happened to me once, I won two whole dollars

Another prize was handed out for the top score in each game. Steve pulled down the high score in the second game and came away with $10.

Now, not that Steve isn’t a great bowler, but the scores were a little inflated that night. Strikes were counted when you hit down all ten pins or just 9 pins. I think Steve got about six 9-pin strikes in a row at one point. It was pretty awesome.

One of the very important ‘B’s

My brother, the model.

I think Dan was giving me some advice on women here. Always helpful.

I’m hoping that Steve is laughing at something he or I said and not some drunken Brenden antics.

At one point in the 3rd game a prize ticket number was called out. It was my number. I headed up to the MC to see what the deal was. He had a deck of cards and I had to cut it. The card I cut was to be the number of pins I had to hit on my next throw. That many pins exactly. And if I hit that many down I win $122. Needless to say, I could use $122.

I need 5.

Here’s me clarifying what I have to do.

There are not too many situations where I would be mad about getting a strike, but this was one of them. The picture is dark, but my face is really mad.

Here is the whole group, except for Linzy, who is taking the picture. From left to right is Chey, me, Jenny, Matt, Dan, and Steve. And yes, Dan is getting fresh with Steve.

So that was my 4th annual Brenden’s Beer and Bowling Birthday Bash. It wasn’t necessarily as rowdy as some of the parties in Bozeman, but it was just as fun. Maybe it just needs time to grow, I can’t wait until next year.
